Job Description
- Develop and build rapport with existing and new vendors on samples, costing and product information.
- Qualifying and selecting of vendors with management
- Review and follow up with supplier on all Non-Conformance Products such as Customer Complaints, Quality Issues etc
- Liaising with Freight Forwarder and Hauler on all inbound shipment to ensure goods are all well received
- Manage and handle shipment lead time, utilization of container capacity to ensure on-time shipment delivery
- Constant update on freight cost to keep goods price competitive
- Generate and ensure Purchase Order are promptly placed to avoid any delay in receiving of goods
- Responsible to revamp and update all latest pricing into the system accurately and timely
Requirements
- GCE N level and above with some purchasing experience
- Ability to negotiate and coordinate shipments with various parties internally and externally
- Meticulous and ensure all data are up to date
- Able to work individually and work in a team
- Self-initiative to handle all work matters
- Able to use Microsoft Word/Excel or any CRM
